1sg Darrin Matthew Domko

Darrin was born September 27, 1967 in the Bronx, New York and has three sisters; Michelle, Heather, Nicole. He attended three high schools; Riverview High School in Sarasota, Florida, Sarasota High in Florida and then LV Berkner in Richardson, Texas.

To this day Darrin considers Richardson, Texas his home.

Darrin married Sherry on February 14, 1986.

Darrin's son Matthew was born March 1987.

Darrin's daughter Krystal was born in April of 1989.

Darrin joined the Army on February 20th, 1990 and attended Basic Training at Ft Sill, Oklahoma. He then attended Advanced Individual Training as a 13F (Fire Support Specialist) and was deployed to Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm from September 1990 through April 1991.

Darrin's son William was born May 1991.

Stationed in Hanau, Germany 1992.

Stationed in Ft Campbell, Kentucky from 1992 - 1995.

Stationed in Camp Casey, Korea from 1995 - 1996.

Darrin divorced Sherry in May of 1996 and married Keri the same month.

Stationed in Ft Hood, Texas from 1996 - 1999 during which time he deployed to Operation Intrinsic Action in Kuwait and then Bosnia in 1998.

Stationed in Ft Lewis, Washington from 1999 - 2001.

Stationed in Giessen, Germany from 2001-2005 during which time he deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom from May 2003 through July 2004. While he was in Giessen he coached the Giessen High School Wrestling Team, both of his sons wrestled for him.

Stationed in Ft Carson, Colorado for all of 6 months August 2005 through January 2006 and then was sent back to Germany, this time to Heidelberg from January 2006 through July 2009, during which time he deployed to Iraq with V CORPS ARTILLERY January 2006 through December 2006. Upon his return to Germany VCA deactivated and he was assigned to the V CORPS Headquarters as the Operations Sergeant. During his time at Heidelberg he was the High School wrestling coach, taught country line dancing at the on post club Legends and taught teenage self defense.

Darrin's daughter, Nora Katherine Domko was born at Heidelberg Army Hospital in Germany on November 16, 2007; 11:10PM. She was 5lbs 4oz and 19.5 inches long.
